It Started With a Photo Booth
Before Vivid Focus Photography existed, there was Vivid Curiosity Photobooths. That’s where it all began. We showed up to events, watched people light up the moment they stepped in front of the booth, and realized pretty quickly that we were hooked, not just on the fun of it, but on the whole experience of helping people capture moments they’d actually want to keep.
Running a photo booth business puts you in the middle of some of the best moments of people’s lives. Weddings, corporate parties, milestone celebrations. You see a lot. And after enough events, you start noticing everything happening just outside the booth frame too.
The Gap We Kept Seeing
Candid moments nobody was catching. Speeches happening with no one positioned well enough to document them properly. Guests connecting in ways that deserved more than a blurry phone shot. We kept thinking the same thing at event after event: someone should be photographing this properly.
Eventually, that someone became us.
Two Businesses, One Philosophy
Vivid Focus Photography grew directly out of what Vivid Curiosity Photobooths taught us about events and about people. And when the opportunity came to build Vivid Curiosity Productions, it felt like the next natural chapter, not a pivot, just an expansion of the same core idea. Real moments deserve to be captured well, whether that’s through a photo booth, a photographer moving through the room, or a full production setup.
The team behind all three is the same team. Same values, same attention to detail, same commitment to showing up prepared and making the experience feel easy for everyone involved. That consistency is something we’re genuinely proud of.
